  • John 5 mentions unreleased Manson material from the Holy Wood era, "The Factory"

In a recent interview with former Marilyn Manson guitarist, John 5, 5 spoke briefly about his time with Manson describing him as "a genius" and describes the atmosphere of the unreleased instrumental album, known as "The Factory" stating It’s all instrumental, Me and Manson wrote it together, it’s just really cool symphonic creepy music, it’s amazing. When asked if he would consider rejoining Manson, 5 stated that he would consider it if "Rob Zombie wanted to quit music and say that he didn’t wanna do this anymore." Read the full interview on


  • Get Your Gunn labeled one of the most controversial songs of all time

Digital Spy has announced that 1994's Get Your Gunn is one of the top ten most controversial songs of all time, coming in at number 8. "The title is spelled with two n's because the song was a reaction to the murder of Dr. David Gunn, who was killed in Florida by pro-life activists while I was living there. That was the ultimate hypocrisy I witnessed growing up: that these people killed someone in the name of being "pro-life." - Marilyn Manson

  • November 8, 2010. & ABC News Marilyn Manson has signed with Cooking Vinyl Records to release his eighth studio album. The album will be issued via Manson's own label, Hell, etc. Manson had this to say: "We will always be our worst audience, until we stop being an audience and start being an artist. Any art is flesh and blood, no matter how you perform, decorate or display it. But we all want the passionate horror of that blood. And blood is what I am here to bring."

Manson's manager, Tony Ciulla told abc News "the 50-50 joint venture is a "more attractive financial arrangement and allows for greater (creative) control," with both parties sharing profits after Cooking Vinyl recoups its costs, which include an advance paid out to Manson and a "big marketing commitment."  Goldschmidt says he and Ciulla will link up with partners for promotion, marketing and distribution. Goldschmidt's initial global sales target for the album is 500,000 units"

  • October 14, 2010 Marilyn Manson will be kicking off Halloween weekend as he hosts the Halloween Party at Haze Nightclub in Las Vegas, October 30th. September 2010[edit]

  • September 27, 2010 reports that Alternate Press will continue to celebrate their 25th anniversary with a second art exhibition which will feature the work of Marilyn Manson and other artists, at Sloan Fine Art in New York City from October 21 to October 23. Discussion here
  • While unconfirmed by inside sources, Contactmusic News has reported that production on Manson's directorial debut, Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll has been put on "indefinite hold," following a backlash of protest against a trailer which leaked earlier this year. Contact Music cites an unnamed source with the following: "The trailer caused such a backlash that a decision was made to close down the project."   • A source close to Marilyn Manson has confirmed his separation from fiancée Evan Rachel Wood. Speculation about the breakup arouse in mid-August 2010, after Manson was spotted with band members and another woman.
  • On August 14, 2010, Members of the press took photos of Manson, Twiggy and Fred Sablan as they appeared leaving the Boudoir, Coco de Ville in West Hollywood, California.

  • On July 23, 2010, Manson appeared on the Biography Channel program Celebrity Ghost Stories, recounting an experience while visiting his great-grandparents' home in his youth (video footage and transcript here).

  • The winning Billboard campaign features portraits of famous musicians created out of small, pixel-like images of other musicians who had influenced them. For example, this Marilyn Manson portrait was composed of tiny images of KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, the Cure and Cher. The tagline: "Music. See what it's made of."

  • Rumor has it that Marilyn Manson will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live along with "Lost" star Naveen Andrews this sunday on ABC
  • According to the LA Times, Marilyn Manson's artwork, amongst that of other celebrities, will be on display at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Alternative Press Magazine. The VIP event is scheduled for July 9th, and opening the public following night.
  • Marilyn Manson & his fiancee, Evan Rachel Wood are set to star in the upcoming slasher film. This film, is the first in a planned franchise, and is described as a sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movie circa 1989. Manson's involvement with the film was previously alluded to via a MySpace photo in which Manson stated, "after my shoot with Adam Lough (the Carter). Inspirational work for his film, The Splatter Sisters."

  • On April 25, 2010, Ginger Fish made a guest DJ appearance at Los Angeles' Bar Sinister.
  • On April 22, 2010, a 1:35 minute trailer for Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll was discovered online, having evidently been leaked by Revel Studios on April 7, 2010. The unauthorized preview has since been removed, likely resulting from pressure by Manson.
  • On April 20th, 2010, to coincide with both the anniversary of the Columbine massacre and Hitler's birthday, was updated with a new flash video intro.
  • On April 19th, 2010 Rudy Coby announced that Marilyn Manson will play the evil magician in the promotional material of his MAGIC VS. SCIENCE new show.
  • On April 4th, 2010, Perou mentions a new photo shoot with Marilyn Manson is in the works and mentions that he had the opportunity "to hear a couple of KILLER tracks being put together. dirty HEAVY music. GREAT "

  • On February 23rd, 2010, Band member Chris Vrenna turned 43, Happy Birthday from everyone at MansonWiki!
  • On February 14th, 2010, was updated with this message : "On this, the Day of Souls, the celebrations of death end with an offering. Only by prayer and by sacrifices of the masses may the dead be cleansed from sin and attain the Beatific cally acclaimed music video..."

This was found at 7pm GMT and has since been removed.

  • On January 8, 2010, Rudy Coby confirmed rumors of Marilyn Manson's engagement to Evan Rachel Wood in a status update on Facebook.
