NME: Where in the world will you be on December 25?
Marilyn Manson:I'll probably be at my house not doing too much. I'm not an anti-Christmas celebrator, in fact I tried to get into the Christmas spirit last year and had a tree painted black but it didn't get me jolly or any of the things you're supposed to be at Christmas.
NME: Who's the most famous person on your Christmas card list?
Marilyn Manson:Assuming I send Christmas cards, that is? The most interesting is Hunter S Thompson.
NME: What would you give George Bush or Tony Blair for Christmas?
Marilyn Manson:Herpes.
NME: What do you want for Christmas?
Marilyn Manson:Not to get herpes. And another cat. But that doesn't mean I want people to send me cats.
NME: What's the best present you've ever received?
Marilyn Manson:My cat last year.
NME: What's your defining moment of 2003?
Marilyn Manson:The record debuting at number one still meant a great deal to me.
NME: What are you plans for 2004?
Marilyn Manson:Try something completely different, a totally different way of expressing myself.
NME: Justin Timberlake or Justin Hawkins?
Marilyn Manson:You got me again, who's Justin Hawkins? The singer from The Darkness? I like his attitude. But I'm gonna have to go with Justin Timberlake.
