"When the Heart Guides the Hand" is the second track from the 2007 release Eat Me, Drink Me. Scheduled to be the lead single for which the video is known to feature a club scene where Evan Rachel Wood wears hearts over her eyes, the key chorus lyric to the song is ‘if you break my heart, I’ll break your heart-shaped glasses’ (apparently a reference to her been a nymphet).

Music details: Industrial sounding, rhythmic to the point of been militaristic, repetitive and dancey. Skold juxtaposes his bass against Manson’s desperate voice. A broken, hook-heavy rhythm encompasses the song towards the end. It has a running time of 5:00.
