Marilyn Manson, Madonna Wayne Gacy and Twiggy Ramirez appeared on the Phil Donahue Show in October of 1994 to discuss moshing, violence and crowd surfing at concerts.

Many portions of the episode of the show were manipulated and used on Smells Like Children in the songs "Sympathy for the Parents" and "Dancing with the One-Legged...".
According to most, this is one of the more well known episodes of the show.
