The Worm is the main protagonist in the plot line of Marilyn Manson's concept album Antichrist Superstar. He is a flawed and tragic hero; an anti-hero and self-realized heirophant that tries to save the world only to find the world doesn't want to be saved. This consumes him with rage and disgust and transforms him into the destructive and oppressive Antichrist Superstar.
The songs that reference The Worm most are The Beautiful People, Little Horn, Cryptorchid and Deformography.
