MansonWiki staff are users with special privileges in order to maintain the integrity of the site and establish a site that is both comprehensive and a credible source of information.

Staff history

In March 2007, Litso founded the MansonWiki and was the only administrator. In April that year, user Rtiztik (now known as Vixen Windstorm) was assignged administrator privileges to further enable his organisational activities on the wiki.

In November 2007, User:JarvisGanon was promoted to Senior Editor, a usergroup then still called "administrator" because there were no forums yet and the distinction between usergroups was not as clear as it currently is.

In December 2009, Litso appointed two new administrators [god]speed and ‡-me-‡ to manage, promote, and administrate all aspects of the site. Initially, Litso and Windstorm at this point announced their departure from the website's staff, but later decided to stay around and keep up their activities on the wiki. Windstorm however did announce to go on a hiatus for an undetermined period of time.

During this time period, ‡-me-‡ and [god]speed designed an entirely new infrastructure for Manson Wiki, the design being completed in early February 2010 and began being programmed by Litso the following week. The redesign is expected to be launched within the next few months.

In February 2010, members Yawaraey, I4ig0, M1shael and Lagozzino were appointed as senior editors, in acknowledgement for their contributions to the website.

Administrators

Administrators are staff members of MansonWiki who run and maintain the actual website. On the wiki their usergroup is set to 'bureaucrat', which means they are are capable of assigning certain usergroups and privileges to other members as well as renaming user accounts. All administrators also have administrator status on the MansonWiki forums.

In addition to this, all administrators also have the privileges a Senior Editor has.

Senior Editors

The title Senior Editor is reserved for members who have shown quality and consistantancy in their contributions to MansonWiki for a minimum of 6 months or longer. Senior Editors on the wiki are assigned to the usergroup 'SysOps' and have the ability to protect, move and unlock pages within the Manson Wiki, but have no special privileges on the forums. This however might change in the future, depending on the forum's activity.
