Regarding Lyrics et cetera[edit]
I personally think that we should start using <blockquote><small> for lyrics, as the current setup looks terribly small and difficult to read on various resolutions. In my opinion this looks far more superior and is much easier to read than the current formatting.
Today I am dirty
you should have seen the ratings that day...
and I want to be pretty
Tomorrow, I know that I'm just dirt
We are the nobodies
we wanna be somebodies
when we're dead,
they'll know just who we are
Yesterday I was dirty
wanted to be pretty
I know now that I'm forever dirt
We are the nobodies
we wanna be somebodies
when we're dead,
they'll know just who we are
Some children died the other day
we fed machines and then we prayed
puked up and down in morbid faith
- If your concern is that the format we use now is too small, then I don't see why you would propose this new <blockquote><small> format as it makes the text far smaller. Just look at the size difference:

- The latter example is rather tiny and is a size that should really only be used for footnotes. Combine the small size with the lack of colored background (because the <blockquote> tag doesn't create the little off-white background like the current format does) and the lyrics simply sink into the wall of text of the article instead of standing out as the important aspect of Manson's work that they are.
- Also, when using the <blockquote> tag, the person coding is forced to use <br> tags in order to create paragraphs and spacing which is cumbersome compared to the basic format where all you have to do to make a paragraph is hit the return key. Its an unnecessary extra step.
- Lastly, I don't see the point in re-coding the majority of articles on this wiki simply for rather minuscule aesthetic reasons.
- So in the end, my vote goes for: If it aint broken, don't try to fix it.--Lagozzino 15:37, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
