"Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" is the first and only single of the first EP Smells Like Children, originally written and performed by Eurythmics. The song became an MTV-staple and helped to establish the band in the mainstream. The earliest recording of the song dates back to June 1994 at the Portrait of an American Family release party.
