The band is credited as one of the "Big Four" thrash metal bands, along with Anthrax, Megadeth, and Metallica. Slayer co-headlined with Marilyn Manson on the Rape of the World 2007 tour and the The High End of Low 2009 Rockstar Mayhem Fest tour.
