Rob Zombie in 2006

Rob Zombie was formed in 1998 as the solo project of the artist of the same name, in collaboration with Mike Riggs, Blasko, and John Tempesta. Zombie's main band, White Zombie, dissolved after the release of the solo debut album Hellbilly Deluxe. Rob Zombie toured extensively to promote the debut album, releasing American Made Music to Strip By in 1999, an album of remixes from Hellbilly Deluxe. The band has also recently been known to perform a cover of Marilyn Manson's rendition of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)". John 5 is among the other members. He has recorded guitar on the 2006 album Educated Horses and the 2009 album Hellbilly Deluxe 2.
