Lyrics
The first version ever recorded featured the following lyrics:
I'm being pushed like a blow up doll So so fuck with every call Cribs become abortions at the shopping mall You bet your answers from the eight ball Better, better, better, better, better not tell you Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe next time Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, can't tell you Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe next time I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you Look at me, lie to me You make it all so clear Outlook is not so good What I wanna hear With eyes hazy Pick my future I'm too lazy Always got the science fiction mentality Coldest foam static-gobble talking to me Who with the need there comes the real greed Get on the floor pointing down on our face Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe next time Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, can't tell you I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna, I don't know wanna tell you Look at me, lie to me You make it all so clear Outlook is not so good What I wanna hear Look at me, lie to me You make it all so clear Outlook is not so good What I wanna hear Eight ball! Eight ball! Eight ball! Eight ball! Look at me, lie to me You make it all so clear Outlook is not so good What I wanna hear (Oh no no, oh no no) Better, better, better, better, better not tell you Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe next time Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me, can't tell you Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe next time Eight ball! Look at me, lie to me You make it all so clear Outlook is not so good What I wanna hear Look at me, lie to me You make it all so clear Outlook is not so good What I wanna hear
Trivia
- One small snippet of the lyrics ("better, better, better, better not tell") was re-used in "Irresponsible Hate Anthem" several years later.
