It features a recording of the band's performance on Florida radio station WYNF's "Radio Clash" program on April 26, 1992, and a bonus track from the unreleased cassette Thrift. Live as Hell was released though radio station WYNF (who also broadcast the performance), with the band's participation. It was the last cassette the band released before formally changing their name to Marilyn Manson.
