It was released on December 11, 2007, and is separated into two parts: "The Basics," which generally contains the band's singles, and "Next Steps," which contains for the most part other songs that are popular with the band's fanbase. The compilation includes material spanning from the band's major label debut, ''[[Portrait of an American Family]]'' through their then-current album released only months prior, ''[[Eat Me, Drink Me]]'', as well as some soundtrack inclusions such as "[[Long Hard Road Out of Hell]]" and "[[Tainted Love]]".

The compilation was updated on Apridl 27th, 2010 to include tracks from Manson's seventh studio album, [[The High End of Low]].
