A bit further on in his life in the mid 80s, he would be seen as a popular clothing model and local band member. His character, style, and reputation at this point had become the prototype for what young Brian Warner would adapt into a Marilyn Manson ideal. As they became closer friends, Bradley and Brian's personalities expressed themselves through fun ideals in Gidget Gein and Marilyn Manson. The personal stylings, influences, and experiences of each member would showcase as Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids to the south Florida music scene and eventually gain the attention of a newly successful Trent Reznor.

In the mid 80s he would meet a young Brian Warner and Scott Putesky and together the trio would go on to create Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids. The band gained a cult following in the south Florida music scene and eventually gained the attention of a newly successful Trent Reznor.

As the band became more infamous after dropping the "Spooky Kids" title in 1992, Gidget's personality was becoming more chaotic through extensive drug use. In October 1993, Reznor agreed to rework the production on Marilyn Manson's album, taking them and their tapes to The Record Plant in Los Angeles. On the Christmas Eve of 1993, when finding himself in a hospital bed after a heroin overdose, He was replaced by Jeordie White, now known as Twiggy Ramirez, of Miami death metal band Amboog-a-Lard.

As the band gained notoriety after dropping the "Spooky Kids" title in 1992, Gein's personality was becoming more chaotic through extensive drug use. The band signed a record deal and began writing and recording their first studio album Portrait of an American Family, for which he wrote 7 songs and played all bass. Despite this, Gein was fired from the band after a heroin overdose that landed him in the hospital in December of 1993. Gein would be replaced by Jeordie White, now known as Twiggy Ramirez, of Miami death metal band Amboog-a-Lard who's look was influenced by a combination of, his then-girlfriend, Jessicka and Gein himself. Gein would later appear in the unauthorized documentary, Demystifying the Devil in which he set the record straight about his departure from the band.

Noticeably, most of Jeordie White's signature early Twiggy Ramirez look, down to the multi colored dreadlocks, was influenced by Whites girlfriend Jessika and Gidget. After writing a great arsenal of music for the band, Gein then saw a substitution of his style and personality inserted into Marilyn Manson albums for years to come. Earlier songs Gidget had written such as "She's Not My Girlfriend" would be retitled with different lyrics as the song "[1996]"

As his own art and ideas began to gather, Gein moved to New York in 1996 and formed Gidget Gein and the Dali Gaggers. By examining the flyers and lyrics of the Dali Gaggers, it is evident that Gidget was a major influence in the earlier Marilyn Manson newsletters, flyers and songwriting. In 1998 the Dali Gaggers completed the recording Just AdNausem. the cd was limited to 1000 copies all signed by the band mastered at diskmakers. in late 1998 vocalist Allistarr Lidell quit the Dali Gaggers and the Just Ad Nauseum sessions were remastered by Geoge Marino at sterling sound. the album was than repackaged and retitled Gidget Gein Confessions of a Spooky Kid. after which Gidget Gein and guitarist Al B damned signed 10 thousand copies  of the cd which were made by diskmakers. at the time of Gidgets Death Gidget was selling the signed confessions cds on his site. Bradley Mark Stewart (born September 11, 1969 and died on October 8, 2008), better known by his stage name Gidget Gein, was a professional musician. Gein played bass in Marilyn Manson from 1990 until he was fired in 1993. His stage name was formed from the names Gidget and Ed Gein.

Biography[edit]

Bradley Mark Stewart was born in Hollywood, Florida. He was born to a Catholic school teacher mother and police officer father. As his biological mother and father began to separate, Bradley's early childhood character was molded through a host of 1970s kid shows, AM-radio, and drive-in movies, while learning to play guitar through a Catholic priest.

In the mid 80s he would meet a young Brian Warner and Scott Putesky and together the trio would go on to create Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids. As they became closer friends, Bradley and Brian's personalities expressed themselves through the characters of Gidget Gein and Marilyn Manson and formed the basis of the band's ideals and style. The band gained a cult following in the south Florida music scene and eventually gained the attention of a newly successful Trent Reznor.

As his own art and ideas began to gather, Gein moved to New York in 1996 and formed Gidget Gein and the Dali Gaggers. In 1998 they completed their first album, Just AdNausem, which was given a limited release of 1000 copies. In 2000 this album would get a wider release after being remastered and retitled as "Confessions of a Spooky Kid", though by this time the group disbanded.

Taking a break from the music scene, Gein returned to Florida and worked for the south Florida medical examiner retrieving and cleaning up after the deceased. Through these experiences Gein gathered ideas for more and more art and eventually found a place in the freshly announced UNPOP art movement.

Leaving Florida behind in 2004 and taking his collection with him, Gein began to execute art and fashion shows in Hollywood, California under the organised name GOLLYWOOD. During this time he joined the band People and also record new solo material.

Also around this time Gein appeared to have made amends with Marilyn Manson when he made a cameo appearance in the music video for (s)AINT as a crossdresser. Gein's sculpture, "In Case of Emergency Break Heart" was also featured in the video.

On October 9, 2008, Gidget Gein was found dead, at 39 years old, from a heroin overdose in his Burbank home. To honor him, a tribute show was played at the Viper Room in Los Angeles featuring Al B Damned (of the Dali Gaggers), Mike Starr (of Alice in Chains) and Sara Lee Lucas. Al B Damned also released all of Gein's music to his official website to be downloaded for free.
