Fred Sablan is a multi-talented musician originally from the San Francisco Bay area in California. In the late nineties, Sablan performed as the guitarist for the punk band Crack. Which was described by journalist Todd S. Inoue as "Cupertino's punk-noise surrealists."  Sablan's most notable presence to the Manson fanbase came from his involvement as both a bassist and occasional guitarist for Jeordie White aka Twiggy's side project Goon Moon, prior to this he was a bassist for the band Butcher Holler. Sablan is a long time guitarist, though his focus is more toward bass guitar now. Sablan is also involved in his own personal project, titled Birthday Twin which is described as being "punk-experimental-blues." Sablan describes this project to be "born out of all kinds of music,...i record whatever i feel like with the emphasis being on film score and live mood creating"

Biography
July 25th, 2010 the band lineup for Marilyn Manson hinted that Fred Sablan had been contributing to the recording sessions of the new album, as Fred was listed as a member.

Born in Santa Clara, California and raised in Cupertino, California, Fred Sablan (pronounced suhBlon) began gaining recognition as a musician in the late 1990s while playing guitar in Crack, a group once described as "Cupertino's punk-noise surrealists." Sablan next took the role of bassist for Butcher Holler. After the release of one album, I Heart Rock, and opening for Foo Fighters however, the group disbanded. Sablan and Twiggy were eventually introduced by former Nine Inch Nails guitarist Aaron North. Sablan joined Goon Moon as live bassist in 2006 after Twiggy and Chris Goss decided to play live shows for their Licker's Last Leg tour. During Twiggy's departure from Marilyn Manson, Goon Moon recorded and toured in support of two releases, however the project entered a hiatus when Twiggy and Marilyn Manson announced their reunion in 2008. Marilyn Manson revealed in July 2010 via Facebook, that Fred was the latest addition to the band line-up. Sablan made his Marilyn Manson debut on February 24, 2012.

Groups Sablan has been influenced by include Morricone, Spacemen 3, Mogwai, NEU!, David Axelrod, Primal Scream, Harry Partch, Terry Riley, Slayer, Silver Apples, UNKLE, Bert Jansch, Bad Brains, Iggy Pop, CAN and Sonic Youth.

* Manson painted Sablan as a man-tree hybrid, similar to Manson's own appearance in the music video for "The Nobodies". This painting has yet to be given a title, however the painting has now been confirmed as completed by Fred Sablan in his interview with Provider Module.<br>
