Faunadestia

Faunadestia is a painting by Marilyn Manson. It depicts Mickey Mouse taking the top of his head off, in a manner someone would take his hat off while greeting someone. It is now unavailable as it has been sold to American musician Rob Zombie's tour manager.

Manson's interpretation of the Painting

'" Every artist has to do Mickey as a rite of passage. This is my interpretation. The title refers to the phobia of animals scratching their genitals. I think Andy Warhol did say America suffers from a rodent fetish. I enjoyed that."
