Trivia

  • In "Gave Up," Manson is portrayed playing guitar and providing backing vocals in the video. This marks the debut of Manson into the public eye, as this is Manson's first music video appearance.
  • In "Starfuckers, Inc.," Manson portrays a blonde female who accompanies Reznor throughout the video, Smashing dinnerware featuring various rock stars from Fred Durst to Gene Simmons and even Manson himself. Also as Reznor throws albums into the toilet, Mechanical Animals is seen thrown in.
  • In "The Way I Am," Manson portrays himself as of the song's lyrical portrayal. He is also controversial in nature.
  • Manson agreed to be in the "Dead in Hollywood" music video as part of an agreement for Joey Jordison's (Slipknot and Murderdolls) appearance in the "Tainted Love" music video. In the video, he plays what appears to be some sort of doctor.
  • In Rammstein's "Haifisch", a cardboard facade of Manson from the Golden Age of Grotesque Era appears at around 33 seconds during lead singer Till Lindemann's in-video funeral. Throughout the video, an actor playing Marilyn Manson can be seen, and the process of doing him up like Manson is seen in the Making Of, with the makeup artists consulting The Golden Age of Grotesque photos.
