The performance on May 23th, 2007 took place at Radio 1 in London, England, UK. Marilyn Manson and Tim Skold appeared on UK radio station Radio 1's Live Lounge to discuss Eat Me, Drink Me, and performed two acoustic songs; one a rendition of "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)" and the other a Justin Timberlake cover titled "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude)". Also a recurring joke among the interviewer and Manson was Manson's choice of leather pants worn that day.

What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude)

When artists visit BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, they are usually offered to perform their latest single acoustically as well as a cover of a current, popular song that's usually on the other side of the spectrum as far as genre. The song was chosen to be performed due to the irony in the song content when applied to real-life situations. It was a selected choice from this set of options:

  • "Rehab", originally by Amy Winehouse from her 2006 album Back in Black
  • "Knights of Cydonia", originally by Muse from their 2006 album Black Holes and Revelations
  • "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around (Interlude)", originally by Justin Timberlake from his 2006 album FutureSex/LoveSounds
