The performance on November 14th, 2000 took place at the Saci in New York City, New York, USA. It was publicized as the band's first and last ever acoustic show, with Manson announcing before the performance, "Welcome to our first, and probably our last, acoustic show." This has since been overshadowed due to Marilyn Manson and Tim Skold performing a 2-song acoustic set on UK radio station Radio 1.

It was publicized as the band's first and last ever acoustic show, with Manson announcing before the performance, "Welcome to our first, and probably our last, acoustic show." Despite this the band performed another acoustic show in Berlin in 2003 and Marilyn Manson and Tim Skold performed a 2-song acoustic set on UK radio station Radio 1 in 2007.

Clad in burgundy leather pants, a long-sleeve black mesh shirt and blood-red eye makeup, Manson — along with the band, eased into the short setlist with the dirgelike "GodEatGod," the first track on Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death). Manson then took the audience into unfamiliar territory, offering a cover of what he called "my favorite John Lennon song," "Working Class Hero". Next the band performed a cover of the Johnny Mandel song "Suicide Is Painless" — best known as the theme song of M*A*S*H. "This song is far more depressing than anything I could have ever written," Manson said before diving into the song, which the band covered on the Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows film soundtrack. Manson then reached back to Holy Wood to close the set with "Count to Six and Die (The Vacuum of Infinite Space Encompassing)", the track that closes the album.

Trivia
+
Setlist
* This performance is unique in that it was the only acoustic performance of any of the four songs (bar "Working Class Hero", though the studio version was recorded acoustic), the only time the band has performed "Working Class Hero" and "Count to Six and Die (The Vacuum of Infinite Space Encompassing)", and one of the strictly limited times "GodEatGod" and "Suicide Is Painless" have been performed live. "Count to Six and Die" and "Suicide Is Painless" would be sampled as concert intros and outros respectively during the Guns, God and Government, however, though they would never again be performed live by the band.

* The event was primarily invitation-only. However, tickets for the event were given away through radio contests, via the band's website, and by being among the first 100 to buy the album at the Tower Records store in New York's Broadway Avenue

Trivia
 +
* This is practically the only time any of the four songs played have been performed live by Marilyn Manson. "Suicide Is Painless" was performed live during the Guns, God and Government tour once, and the music of "Count to Six and Die" was sampled as an intro to the band's Guns, God and Government tour in 2000 and 2001, but the performance at this show was the only vocal rendition of it.
