333 Lunatic Lane was a local South Florida band formed presumably sometime during 1990. Sara Lee Lucas was among the band's members.
[edit] A Perfect Circle
A Perfect Circle was formed in 1999 by Billy Howerdel, a guitar tech for Nine Inch Nails, Tool, and Smashing Pumpkins (he bears some resemblance to Billy Corgan). Although Howerdel had originally envisioned having a female vocalist, Maynard James Keenan of Tool offered his vocal abilities to the project after hearing some demos. Twiggy Ramirez is among the other members.
[edit] Amboog-a-Lard
Amboog-a-Lard was formed in 1987 as a garage band by Dan Fontana, George Kokkoris and Barry Alpertand, and went through brief successes before eventually flatlining by 1996. The spearhead of their only "official" release (they also recorded a pro-demo CD), A New Hope, centered around the theme of Star Wars but their music is characterized by deeper philosophical and political thoughts. Twiggy Ramirez was among the other members (back then still known as Jeordie White), first as a rhythm guitarist, and then as bassist. Bleeding Through was formed in 1999 by Brandan Schieppati, Javier Van Huss, Scott Danough, Chad Tafolla, and Troy Born. They are supporting Marilyn Manson during the Rape of the World 2007 tour.

Curve was an English music group formed in 1990 chiefly around the collaboration of singer/songwriter Toni Halliday and bassist/guitarist/programmer Dean Garcia. Rob Holliday performed in the band around 2002.

Danzig was formed in 1987 by Glenn Danzig. The band fuses dark lyrics and imagery with blues-inspired heavy metal music, and serves as a musical outlet for singer/composer Glenn Danzig. It can be seen as the third stage in Glenn Danzig's musical career, preceded by the horror punk band The Misfits and the band Samhain. Marilyn Manson opened up for Danzig during the 1994 4p tour. Mark Chaussee was among the band's members.

David Michael Navarro (born June 7, 1967) is a professional musician. He has played in the rock bands Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Navarro is a founding member of The Panic Channel and the cover band Camp Freddy. He is also a friend of Marilyn Manson, and contributed the outro solo of "I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me)" on Marilyn Manson's 1998 album Mechanical Animals.

Electro-Shock Therapy was a local Florida band formed sometime in the early 1990s. Sara Lee Lucas was among the band's members, following his termination from Marilyn Manson.

Fight was formed in 1994 by Rob Halford formerly of Judas Priest. Mark Chaussee was among the band's members.

Flint was formed in 2003 as the solo project of Keith Flint of the The Prodigy, in collaboration with Jim Davies, Kieron Pepper, and Tony Howlett. Vocalist Keith Flint has remixed "mOBSCENE", to the extent of even recording vocals for the track. Rob Holliday was among the band's other members.

Gary Numan was formed in 1978, initially called the Tubeway Army. It is the solo project of the Gary Numan, in collaboration with an assortment of other musicians. After recording an album's worth of punk-influenced demo tapes, Numan was signed by Beggars Banquet Records in 1978 and quickly released two singles, "That's Too Bad" and "Bombers", neither of which charted. A self-titled, new wave-oriented debut album later that same year sold out its limited run and introduced Numan's fascination with dystopian science fiction and, more importantly, synthesizers. Marilyn Manson has covered Gary Numan twice. Rob Holliday is among the other members.
[edit] Gidget Gein & the Dali Gaggers
Gidget Gein & the Dali Gaggers was formed in 1996 by Gidget Gein. The band featured various fun displays of degenerate art, ideas, and post-punk styled songwriting. By examining the flyers, lyrics, and propaganda of the band, it is evident that Gein was a major influence in the earlier Marilyn Manson newsletters, flyers, and songwriting.

gODHEAD were the first and only band signed on to Marilyn Manson's short-lived vanity label, Posthuman Records, in 2001. Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez were involved in the recording of three songs from gODHEAD's 2001 album, 2000 Years of Human Error: "Break You Down", "I Sell Society", and "2000 Years of Human Error".

Goon Moon was formed in 2005 by Jeordie White (now known as Twiggy Ramirez) and Chris Goss. The band released a mini-LP called I Got a Brand New Egg-Laying Machine and have since recorded a full-length album, Licker's Last Leg, which was released on May 8, 2007. The album feature cameos from longtime Goss collaborator Josh Homme and Josh Freese, as well as desert rock mainstay Dave Catching.

Gottfried Helnwein (born October 8, 1948) is an Austrian-Irish fine artist, photographer, installation and performance artist. He is a friend of Marilyn Manson's, and art-collaborator for The Golden Age of Grotesque era. Helnwein permitted his home at Gurteen Castle in Kilsheelan, County Tipperary, Ireland, to be the site for the wedding of Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese on December 3, 2005.

Hocico was formed in 1993 by Erik Garcia and Oscar Mayorga. They supported Marilyn Manson during the Dead to the World tour.

Hole was formed in 1989 by Courtney Love, Eric Erlandson and Lisa Roberts. They supported Marilyn Manson during the Rock Is Dead Tour. Vocalist Courtney Love was also romantically linked to Twiggy Ramirez sometime during the Antichrist Superstar era.

Howard Allan Stern (born January 12, 1954) is an American radio and TV personality, media mogul, humorist, actor, and author. Stern hosts The Howard Stern Show four days a week from Monday to Thursday on Howard 100, a Sirius Satellite Radio station. He is a friend of Marilyn Manson's, and the band even contributed a song to Stern's biographic film Private Parts's soundtrack.

India Loves You was a local South Florida band formed presumably sometime between 1988 and 1989. Daisy Berkowitz and Sara Lee Lucas were among the band's members.

Insanity Assassin was a local South Florida band formed presumably sometime during 1990. Gidget Gein was among the band's members. It was at an Insanity Assassin performance that Marilyn Manson met former-girlfriend Melissa Romero.

Itch was a local South Florida band formed in late 1989. The actual memebers were Miles Hie, Mick Who, Brent Jest and Dennis Dean. Eventually after some personnell changes Mark Montessi and Keith Cronin replaced Brent and Dennis as Guitarist and Drummer. Hear their music on myspace - theitchftlauderdale, or milesgrant. Pat Joyce of Scabtree was never in the band but is a great guy in his own right. However Miles was a guitarists for two Scabtree Performances. ONe song "I Crisis" was produced by Marilyn Manson

Jack Off Jill was formed in 1992 by Jessicka Fodera, Tenni Ah-Cha-Cha, Robin Moulder, and Michelle Inhell. Jessicka originally wanted to call the band Somnolent, The Pills, or Drowsy, but settled on the name Jack and Jill for a very short time. Long time friend Marilyn Manson suggested a name change to Jack Off Jill, which the foursome accepted. The group toured and performed with Marilyn Manson a significant number of times. Like Manson, they were known for raunchy shows. Daisy Berkowitz was among the other members. Manson later wrote the liner notes for the band's Humid Teenage Mediocrity record, a collection of early Jack Off Jill recordings.

Jessica Fodera (born October 23, 1975), better known by her stage name Jessicka, is a professional musician. She was the lead singer of the alternative rock band Jack Off Jill until its separation in 2000, and is now the lead singer of another alternative rock band, Scarling.. She is a friend of Marilyn Manson, and performed with him, among others, in the short-lived Mrs. Scabtree project.

[edit] Jonathan Davis
Jonathan Houseman Davis (born January 18, 1971) is a professional musician. He is the vocalist and songwriter for the multiplatinum nu metal band, Korn. He was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, where he lived with his father and step-mother. Growing up, Davis faced many hardships (including alleged child abuse at the hands of his step-mother and violent schoolyard bullying), which he later used to inspire his songwriting. He is friends with Marilyn Manson, and even commissioned Manson to perform a song he had written ("Redeemer") for the Queen of the Damned film soundtrack.
[edit] Kingpin
Kingpin was formed in 1985 by Harry Cody and Tim Tim. The band kicked off their career with a 7" single titled "Shout It Out" (which hit #1 in Sweden, their native country) in 1987 after drafting vocalist Zinny San and drummer Stixx Galore a short time later. Kingpin released their only Swedish album Welcome to Bop City 12" LP the following year and later uprooted to Los Angeles and changed their name to Shotgun Messiah.

KMFDM was formed in 1984 as a joint effort between Konietzko and German painter/multi-media performer Udo Sturm to perform for the opening of an exhibition of young European artists at the Grand Palais. Sturm had no lasting musical aspirations, and Konietzko was more interested in studio recordings than the occasional art performance, so he began collaborating with then-Hamburg-based studio owner Raymond Watts and drummer Klaus Schandelmaier, who adopted the stage name En Esch. Tim Skold was among the other members.

Korn was formed in 1993 by Brian Welch, James Shaffer, Reginald Arvizu, and David Silveria. Former band-member Welch stated that their signature sound came from an attempt to emulate Mr. Bungle's guitar tone, which they referred to as "the Bungle chord". Along with other bands of the time, they have also inspired many nu metal, alternative metal and rap metal bands through the mid-1990s and early 2000s. Vocalist Jonathan Davis has entered Hit Parader's "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Vocalists" list peaking at #16.

Kuzmark was a local Florida band formed sometime in the early 1990s. Sara Lee Lucas was among the band's members, following his termination from Marilyn Manson.
[edit] L.U.N.G.S.
L.U.N.G.S. was formed in 1992. The band was subsequently renamed Collapsing Lungs, and later renamed again to Lungs. They released an album called Colorblind in 1994. Olivia Newton Bundy and Zsa Zsa Speck were among the band's members.
[edit] Life Sex & Death
Life Sex & Death was formed in 1990 by Stanley, Alex Kane, Bill Gar, and Brian Michael Horak. The band employed a gimmick in that their singer was allegedly a tramp. This particular facet of the band gained them extra publicity in the press, yet may have detracted slightly from focusing on the band's music. The lead singer (Stanley) was later revealed to be Chris Stann. Zim Zum and John 5 were among other members.

Low Art Thrill was formed in 1995, from the aftermath of the break-up of UK pop band Rumblefish. They were featured on the soundtrack of the soap opera Hollyoaks in 1996, and on the ITV program Premiere, documenting the creation of their artwork with graphic designers Fluid. Rob Holliday was among the band's members.

Mark Dubin, also known by his stage name Killer, is a musician. He was the rhythm bassist for Mrs. Scabtree in 1993, although his current whereabouts are unknown.

Martyr Plot was formed in 2004 as a collaboration between Ginger Fish and vocalist Dave Scott. The side project only lasted during Marilyn Manson's Against All Gods tour, since Ginger could not participate in it due to a head injury.

Mary Karlzen is a professional musician. She was the violinist for Mrs. Scabtree in 1993, and is currently performing in the band of her namesake, Mary Karlzen.

Maven is an industrial rockband formed in 2001 by Bon Harris, who collaborated with Marilyn Manson on their 2000 album Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death). Manson provided guest vocals on Maven's cover of "Hard On for Love", originally written and performed by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.

MDFMK was founded by Sascha Konietzko and Tim Skold in 1999. They went on to release just one album simply titled MDFMK released in 2000 on Universal Records. The band, with Lucia Cifarelli, took on a more futuristic sound than KMFDM, which also contained hints of trance and europop, primarily in the style of production, leaning towards, what is now commonly referred to as 'electronica'.
MDFMK also featured all three sharing vocal duties. Their song "Missing Time" was used in the animated movie, Heavy Metal 2000. Skold, Konietzko and Cifarelli went on to reform KMFDM shortly after the album's release.

Monster Magnet was formed in 1989 by Dave Wyndorf, John McBain, Tim Cronin, and Tom Diello. They supported Marilyn Manson during the Rock Is Dead Tour. Marilyn Manson also performed a cover of Monster Magnet's "Spine of God" with Dave Wyndorf in 1996.

Monster Voodoo Machine was formed in 1991 by Adam "Doom" Sewell. They supported Marilyn Manson during the Portrait of an American Family Tour.
[edit] Mrs. Scabtree
Mrs. Scabtree was formed in 1993 and was the second side project between Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez. Manson played drums, while Ramirez shared vocal duties with then girlfriend Jessicka from Jack Off Jill in a blonde wig. According to several interviews, other band members were from several South Florida bands including, The Itch and Sister Venus. The band performed only two shows live, and only three songs by the band are known. Daisy Berkowitz and Madonna Wayne Gacy were among the other members.
[edit] Nation of Fear
Nation of Fear was formed in 1996 by Olivia Newton Bundy and DJ Grynch. They released the song "Immortal" on a compilation album for rock station 9.49 WZTA. Later that year Nation of Fear would release their well-received self-titled album on DiMar Records. They would go on tour with Genitorturers and were even joined on tour by Lords of Acid. Nation of Fear (like their tour-mates) were known for stage antics including S&M, powertools, and pyrotechnic shows. In 1998 Nation of Fear's second release Everything Beautiful Rusts, while receiving much more attention, failed to keep the band together and by 2000 they had broken up.
[edit] Nine Inch Nails
Nine Inch Nails was formed in 1988 by Trent Reznor. As its main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Reznor is the only official member of Nine Inch Nails and remains solely responsible for the musical direction of the band. Trent Reznor liked the band and signed them onto his label, Nothing Records. Marilyn Manson opened for Nine Inch Nails during the Self Destruct tour in 1994, and in 2000 after a reconciliation with frontman Trent Reznor, Manson joined the band onstage singing "Starfuckers, Inc.". Twiggy Ramirez and Chris Vrenna were among the band's members, although both left the band in 2007 and 1997 respectively.

ohGr was formed in 2000 by Nivek Ogre of Skinny Puppy, and musician Mark Walk. Although the pedigree of the group's members might suggest otherwise, ohGr is not strictly an industrial group, as it draws heavily from elements of electro-pop, metal, and even hip hop. The sound diverges heavily from that of Ogre's earlier Skinny Puppy work, incorporating a more conventional structure as well as a lighter tone, lyrically and musically. Tim Skold was among the other members.

Paul R. Brown is a professional graphic designer, photographer, and music video director. In 1996 he founded Bau-da Design Lab, which currently operates out of downtown Los Angeles. Brown is well-known for his album designs for musicians such as Godsmack, Korn, Mötley Crüe, and early in his career he gained a particular notoriety for his work with Marilyn Manson. His career in music video direction has included notable videos for a diverse array of musicians including Billy Corgan, Death Cab for Cutie, the Goo Goo Dolls, Matisyahu, and Mötley Crüe. He has been collaborating with Marilyn Manson since 1996.

Perou is a professional photographer. He has worked with such bands and artists as Coldplay, Damien Hirst, David Beckham, Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, the Spice Girls, Tracey Emin, and U2. He has also been collaborating with Marilyn Manson since 1998.

Rammstein was formed in 1993 by Richard Kruspe, Till Lindeman and Oliver Riedel. The band produces a combination of progressive metal, industrial and techno they refer to as tanz-metall ("dance metal" in English). The band sings mainly in German. Band members Christoph Schneider and Paul Landers produced a remix of "mOBSCENE" called the "Sauerkraut Remix". Also Chris Vrenna has remixed the band's 2005 single "Rosenrot".

Rob Zombie was formed in 1998 as the solo project of the artist of the same name, in collaboration with Mike Riggs, Blasko, and John Tempesta. Zombie's main band, White Zombie, dissolved after the release of the solo debut album Hellbilly Deluxe. Rob Zombie toured extensively to promote the debut album, releasing American Made Music to Strip By in 1999, an album of remixes from Hellbilly Deluxe. The band has also recently been known to perform a cover of Marilyn Manson's rendition of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)". John 5 is among the other members.

Scarling. was formed in 2002 by Jessica Fodera, from the aftermath of the break-up of her former band Jack Off Jill. Scarling.'s style and material are heavily influenced by 1990s-era Shoegazing bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Lush, and Loop as well as by the 1990s riot grrrl scene that had also inspired Fodera's previous band.
[edit] Shotgun Messiah
Shotgun Messiah was a renamed incarnation of Kingpin, initially formed in 1985. Like Kingpin, it featured Zinny Zan, Harry Cody, Tim Sköld, and Stixx Galore. Their album released under The Cools name was re-recorded and released as Shotgun Messiah's self-titled debut album, Shotgun Messiah. The style of this album was glam metal typical of early 1980s American bands, in the vein of Mötley Crüe and Ratt.

Sister Venus was a local South Florida band formed presumably sometime during 1990. Mark Dubin Mrs. Scabtree was among the band's members.

Skold was formed in 1996 as the solo project of Tim Sköld. Promoting his debut album, Sköld went on a short tour with (and in part as support for) Genitorturers. Some of the songs on the debut solo album, Skold, were used in movies like Disturbing Behavior, Universal Soldier: The Return and Sony PlayStation game, Twisted Metal. During his solo career, Sköld also did remixes for several bands such as Prong, Nature and Drown. He also met KMFDM frontman Sascha Konietzko during his time in the studio and even went to join his band a short time later.

Slayer was formed in 1981 by Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King. The band rose to fame as a leader of the American thrash metal movement with their 1986 release Reign in Blood, which has been called "the heaviest album of all time". The band is credited as one of the "Big Four" thrash metal bands, along with Anthrax, Megadeth, and Metallica. Slayer is co-headlining with Marilyn Manson on the Rape of the World 2007 tour.
[edit] Stuck on Evil
Stuck on Evil was formed in 2000 by Daisy Berkowitz and Rich Penny after, as a reestablishment of former project Rednecks on Drugs. Their plan for a national tour starting in August of 2001 was ruined, however, by September 11 and a bone-breaking accident on the part of vocalist John Cain Riley. Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, and the subsequent condemnation of "evildoers" by President George W. Bush, the band decided to drop the word "evil" from its name.

Sulpher was formed in 1999 by Rob Holliday and Monti. Holliday assumed duties as lyricist, guitarist and lead vocalist. Monti assumes duties as producer, programmer, and drummer. Tim Mud also features as live guitarist. Sulpher has released one album titled Spray, with two singles for the tracks "One of Us" and "You Ruined Everything", and currently have a second album in production.

The Coup De Grace was formed in the early 1990s by James Mecherle. Mark Chaussee was among the band's members.
[edit] The Desert Sessions
The Desert Sessions are a musical collective series "that cannot be defined". Founded by Josh Homme in 1997. Artists such as PJ Harvey, Jeordie White, Dave Catching, Nick Oliveri, Mark Lanegan, John McBain, Josh Freese, Chris Goss, Alain Johannes, Dean Ween, and many others from the Palm Desert Scene have contributed as songwriters and musicians.
[edit] The Linda Blairs
After his departure from Marilyn Manson, Scott Putesky (Daisy Berkowitz) played live shows in a whimsical side project called The Linda Blairs. The band featured several unknown South Florida musicians who performed cover tunes previously recorded by female fronted 80's rock bands. Jessicka came up with the name and created the band as an opening act for her band Jack Off Jill. The Linda Blairs did most live performances dressed in drag.

The Mission was formed in 1986, from the aftermath of the break-up of UK goth rock band The Sisters of Mercy. It was formed initially by Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams. Rob Holliday is among the band's members.
[edit] The Pop Culture Suicides
The Pop Culture Suicides was formed in 2005 by Haze Lee Finn, Zim Zum, Ajax, Azland, and Faust Flag. All of the band members stage names, bar Zim Zum have a Germanic sound to them, this could be regarding Zum's Germanic ancestry. So far the band have played live shows in Chicago and various places in the mid-west, and are currently recording their debut album. As well as shooting a promotional video and planing a full tour.

The Prodigy was formed in 1990 by Liam Howlett, Keith Flint, Maxim, Leeroy Thornhill, and Sharky. The Prodigy first emerged on the underground rave scene in the early 1990s, and have since then achieved immense popularity and worldwide renown. Rob Holliday is among the band's members.
[edit] The Smashing Pumpkins
Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is thanked in the credits of Mechanical Animals and acted as creative consultant on the album. The two were briefly friends but Manson stated in an interview with i-D magazine that "Billy and I aren't really friends anymore" though he remained full of plaudits for the Chicago songwriter during the interview calling him "a great artist" and "one of the most talented musicians I've ever worked with."

Three Ton Gate was formed in 1997 by Daisy Berkowitz after his somewhat forceful exit from Marilyn Manson. Much like industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, Scott is the only permanent member of Three Ton Gate, although he has initially worked with female vocalist Tyreah James. The debut disc Vanishing Century is arguably Berkowitz's best Three Ton Gate work to date. A unique band not quite ahead, not quite behind, but somewhere amusingly in the middle of their time, it is perhaps their difference that prevents them from becoming a universally known band.

Michael Trent Reznor (born May 17, 1965), better known simply as Trent Reznor, is a professional musician. He is the founder and primary creative force of industrial metal band Nine Inch Nails. He signed Marilyn Manson as the first (after Nine Inch Nails) act of newly-founded vanity label Nothing Records, and was the band's producer from 1994 until 1996. It was during that time that he and Marilyn Manson's friendship began to cripple, and after several fallouts, the two were revealed to no longer be friends by 2001.

Tweaker was formed in 1998 as the solo project of Chris Vrenna, in collaboration with Clint Walsh and an assortment of other musicians. The style incorporates synthpop, modern jazz and electronica genres, and is characterized by a generally melancholy and sombre sound with distinctive artwork to match. While Chris Vrenna supplies most instruments and electronics, many famous musicians have lent their voices and talents to Tweaker, including Robert Smith, David Sylvian, Burton C. Bell, Will Oldham, Hamilton Leithauser, Buzz Osborne and Johnny Marr.
