- On June 7, 2008, it was announced that Marilyn Manson would feature in the "Finger in Fame" exhibition by Drkrm, showcasing the fine art music photography of Travis Shinn. Other artists featured among the exhibition include Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, System of a Down and the Misfits.
- June 5, 2008 marks the anniversary of Marilyn Manson's Eat Me, Drink Me, released exactly one year before.
- On May 23, 2008, an interview with Manson conducted by Kerrang! revealed that the band's upcoming album is planned for a release during winter 2008.
- On May 5, 2008, a Marilyn Manson best of EP titled Lost & Found was released by Polydor Records, the band's European record label. Lost & Found is currently only available as a collection of downloadable tracks, and it is unclear as of yet if an actual compact disc release will be available in the future.
- On April 7, 2008, Marilyn Manson's line of absinthe called Mansinthe was certified and won Gold at the SF World Spirits Competition.
