The Smashing Pumpkins are an American alternative rock band that formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988.

Trivia[edit]

  • The Pumpkins' frontman Billy Corgan has worked with Manson at numerous times.
  • Marilyn Manson has performed acoustic versions of "Eye" and "The Beautiful People" live with them on October 18, 1997, and performed "Eye" and "X.Y.U." live with them on December 5, 1997.
  • In the early stages of The High End of Low's development, former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha was rumored to be contributing to the album. This seems to have never come to fruition as he is not credited for any work on the final album.
