[edit] Current album

The High End of Low is Marilyn Manson's seventh studio album. It was released on May 20, 2009, before being issued worldwide on May 26, 2009 by Interscope Records. The album was recorded in Hollywood Hills throughout 2008 and January 2009 by Marilyn Manson, Twiggy and Chris Vrenna. Sean Beavan, who was responsible for mixing the band's Mechanical Animals and Eat Me, Drink Me albums, acted as co-producer for The High End of Low. The album has currently spawned the singles "We're from America" and "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon".

On December 3, 2009, an upcoming eighth studio album was announced in an interview with Metal Hammer.

[edit] Current single

The latest single, "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon", is the fifth track from the 2009 release The High End of Low. The song entered airplay on April 13; curiously, when Manson first revealed the title of the song in Revolver's December 2008 issue, he confessed that the song had "no chance on God's earth of getting on the radio." The music video for the song missed several purported release dates, before premiering on May 14, 2009 in both uncut and censored forms.

[edit] Current tour

The band is currently absent from touring, they finished the last leg of The High End of Low Tour.

[edit] Current video album

On the official message board Babalon a thread was created where fans can vote which songs and other features they'd want to see on a live blu-ray/DVD video album[1]. This suggests the band is planning to release a fifth video album with footage from the High End of Low tour.
