Honestly I have a hard time considering this an official marilyn manson release, as we know this was released by Scott Putesky after a court battle with Manson, thus seeing it placed by true Manson singles such as the nobodies and this is the new shit, et cetera I just find this to be out of place and should not be categorized in marilyn Manson discography. This was merely scott cashing in on Manson through this release.

This was a single released in promotion of Lunch Boxes & Choklit Cows. It doesn't matter if this was Scott cashing in on Manson. While probably true, this is your bias, and our job is merely to report things as they are. Alden Weston talk 16:31, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Neither thrift nor choklit cows were an official manson release. Simple as that. It is my job to report factual data to the fans, and this is not an official Marilyn Manson release. I mean seriously that would be like putting demystifying the devil or birth of the antichrist in Manson's videography.
Both Thrift and Lunch Boxes & Choklit Cows are official releases. Explain how, in any way, they aren't official. They're all officially recorded MM & The Spooky Kids songs officially released by a member of the band who obtained complete official rights to release the material. It's nothing like "Birth of the Antichrist" because in that case, their old producer went behind the band's back and supplied a third, unofficial, party with master tapes that they never should've had. With these releases on the other hand, Scott has every legal right to release them which makes them official Spooky Kids merchandise. --Lagozzino 17:06, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Correct. Putesky's releases aren't official in the sense that they were band efforts, but they are official in the sense that they aren't bootlegged pressings. They're not part of the true Marilyn Manson chronology, but they are releases condoned by a member of the band that has the legal authority to put this material out whether we support that or not, and it's not our place to shape this website based on how we feel about that. Give the edit war a rest. Alden Weston talk 17:28, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
I can appreciate both sides of this argument, and suggest we make a new heading on the discography page, Spooky Kids and other releases, and include Thrift there. Unless there are any arguments to support otherwise? ‡-me-‡ 08:46, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
