While thanking well wishers for his birthday, WGN's music composer, Tyler Bates mentioned that he would be departing at the end of the month to play with Marilyn Manson in Russia. [1]
Bates is known for work on Rob Zombie's Halloween, Halloween II, The Devil's Rejects, Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch, and his recent collaboration with Marilyn Manson on the track "Cupid Carries a Gun" for WGN's "Salem". The song is expected to be on the band's ninth studio album. Bates is a guitarist who co-founded Pet, an indie-band. He also toured with Blink 82, Limp Bizkit and more.
