[edit] Current album
The High End of Low is Marilyn Manson's seventh studio album. It was released on May 20, 2009, before being issued worldwide on May 26, 2009 by Interscope Records. The album was recorded in Hollywood Hills throughout 2008 and January 2009 by Marilyn Manson, Twiggy and Chris Vrenna. Sean Beavan, who was responsible for mixing the band's Mechanical Animals and Eat Me, Drink Me albums, acted as co-producer for The High End of Low. The album has currently spawned the singles "We're from America" and "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon".
[edit] Current single
The latest single, "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon", is the fifth track from the 2009 release The High End of Low. The song entered airplay on April 13; curiously, when Manson first revealed the title of the song in Revolver's December 2008 issue, he confessed that the song had "no chance on God's earth of getting on the radio." The music video for the song missed several purported release dates, before premiering on May 14, 2009 in both uncut and censored forms.
[edit] Current tour
The High End of Low Tour, the twelfth tour Marilyn Manson has embarked on under management of major record label Interscope Records. It is also the band's eighth tour to span over multiple legs. The band has been on the tour since June 3, 2009.
[edit] Current leg
The The High End of Low European Tour is the sixth leg of Marilyn Manson's 2009 The High End of Low Tour. This particular leg of the tour currently consists of 26 dates played throughout Europe, and will span from November 11, 2009 until December 21, 2009.
