Releases[edit]

The most common version of God Is in the T.V. was packaged in a cardboard sleeve and has white text printed directly onto the cassette. A less common alternate packaging was produced in Australia, which held the cassette in a plastic VHS case. No text is printed on the cassette, however the name of the film appears on a sticker placed across the cassette's spine. In November 2005, Manson expressed interested in reissuing both God Is in the T.V. and Dead to the World in DVD format. This is the only time a reissue for these out-of-print films has been alluded to, however in March 2008 Web archive: a petition began in support of the notion.

Trivia[edit]

  • In the live concert and backstage footage section of the film's credits, "Rock n' Roll Nigger" is erroneously placed before "Spine of God", rather than after. The section also misspells "I Don't Like the Drugs" as "I Dont' Like the Drugs".
  • The film takes its name from a lyric in the song "Rock Is Dead".
