Since I'm quite new to this whole wiki stuff I'm not sure yet how to appoint an admin, but having someone in the team that knows his way on a wiki and actually contributes to it sounds great. So yes, you're in as soon as I find out how, lol.

Sounds good. I noticed the two erroneous pages before, I'll try to delete them from the database tonight but I'll have to make a new backup first. At least we now know apart from a few pagetitles restoring the database works so if anything goes wrong we'll only have to fix the four pages again.

I'm planning to add a few of my bootlegs too, I have about 30. To make sure we don't do double work I'll start with the image cover every time so in the Recent Changes you'll be able to see which bootleg I'm working on.

What I meant was that the lesser you have to correct, the less work we have to 'waste' on inconsistencies (sp?). And you're right, contributions will come with more visitors, it just needed a good start like this.

Haha, you're totally right about how the wiki was when it started. People at the 'phant just thought it would be nice to have a wiki so I started one, dumped some info so everybody had something to edit, but hardly anything happened... And there's yet a lot to do indeed. For instance I noticed you added all the paintings but they're all still unlinked. An overview of paintings would make a lot more pages accessible, and listings of other things like covered Manson tracks, merchandise, that kind of stuff would open up a whole new world of pages for people to add. I'll look into that after a good night's sleep, it's getting light already. I think you infected me with the wiki-craze, lol.

Liner Notes

Yeah, I've added a few too today, and all of them are copied exactly from the original booklets. I own at least one version of every single except for 'Rock is Dead' and the rare ones like 'Coma White', although I do own some other promo versions, so all credits I'll be adding to singles pages in the future will contain the original texts as printed in the booklets. Uploading scans would be great, but I'm actually considering installing image gallery software on a separate section of the site (e.g. mansonwiki.com/images/) for all photos, scans and whatever is available on Manson, allowing people to upload pics themselves and some kind of new way of tagging I'm trying to work out to improve indexing and searching through large galleries. It would be nice to create a platform for covers and other artwork we can blend in with the wiki, so we don't necessarily have to post them all on the actual wikipages.

Nah, I think you're right about the copyright. I've been thinking about it myself too, I do plan on taking the book and adding every little interesting fact to their right pages. But to transcribe it would definitely break the copyright laws, if we did that we could as well link to downloads of albums and DVD's. Exactly, and even quoting some interesting parts would be okay I guess as long as it's clearly stated as a quote. The credits and some images would definitely be allowed. As soon as I find the book (I'm moving so it's somewhere in the bottom box probably) I'm going to see what I think would be useful to post.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm going to look into that, it'd be cool if we could post it.

Fun Facts and Other Revelations

I like what you did with the Main page. I've been browsing around at the NIN wiki yesterday, which inspired me to at least add the quick links, but the way you restyled it is great. I even more like the cover gallery on the POAAF page, that's really awesome. I wish I had a scanner so I could start scanning all my stuff, I finally got the 4-track enhanced single of Heart-Shaped Glasses today which would be something that people would really come and take a look for, but unfortunately my last scanner went FUBAR. I'm also in the middle of moving my stuff to my new appartment so I don't have much time to add stuff the next few days, but I'll definitely resume adding my bootlegs soon, and see if I can find The Long Hard Road too. Transylvanian Regurgitations

Why are you deleting the above page? It contains information regarding a Marilyn Manson-related release, originally created from a red link - so obviously someone was looking for information on said release.

I suggest you either recreate above page or fix the the formatting in the 'Collaborations' section of the Discography page to remove any red linkage, instead of copying paragraphs that other people wrote and creating your own pages.
