Godsolid

Vixen Windstorm and Frankcis Tankly are planning to record an album of covers and an album of original tracks, with no actual recording dates given. Initially the recording sessions were supposed to be sometime during Spring or Summer 2007, but due to Tankly's commitment to the Army during a summer program, the recording sessions were put on hiatus until nowhere prior to Winter 2007, or early-2008. During that time Windstorm shifted focus to recording for his solo project. Tankly lost interest in the Army program, though the Godsolid collaboration did not take place, regardless. In a January 12, 2008 update of his website Windstorm commented on the future of Godsolid, saying:

". . . And news regarding me and Frank's collaborations, it might happen, it might not happen. Production isn't the problem or anything, I guess these things just take time. In the meantime I compiled a second year's end demo compilation titled There'll Be Redemption, featuring recordings of 2007, along with the reference demos of the forthcoming album tentatively titled Since Drones Bloom. Twelve days into the new year there remain no 2008 demo recordings yet, that'll probably change soon enough since I plan to finish Since Drones Bloom (or whatever I call it in the end) this year sometime, and of course that means demoing demoing demoing lol. I talked to Frank and he mentioned possibly compiling a demo compilation of his own solo work as well, I know he's got about five or six recorded so far. So while it's not a collaboration, it's still news in the sense of what me and Frank are up to in the world of music."

Windstorm has also expressed interest in possibly drafting a session keyboardist.

The Heretics

By August 2007, talks of a collaboration between Windstorm and longtime friend and musician Solomon Ach began to take place. Windstorm made a proposition to produce Solomon Ach's horror rock band The Heretics' debut album Ghouligan's Island, which Ach plans to release in 2012, with the possibility of a musical contribution to the album as well. Further talks led to the conclusion that Windstorm would perform bass, vocals and possible additional guitar duties as a session musician. He may also perform syncussion as well. It was around this time that Windstorm contributed lyrics to Ach for use in the opening track from the upcoming album, titled "Apacghoulypse Now", a pun on the title of the 1979 war film Apocalypse Now. Despite this, Windstorm is not an official member of the band and is merely producing and contributing guest vocals and instrumentation to the record. As of yet there are no talks regarding whether or not Windstorm will produce The Heretics' planned sophomore cover album The Great COVER-Up, but the possibility is not absolutely ruled out at this time.

Ophilia

When Vixen Windstorm began writing music in late 2003, he at first immersed himself into hip hop, not unlike his initial influences Linkin Park and Eminem. Four years later, having delved immensely into other genres of music (and shedding the aforementioned bands as major influences), Windstorm had settled down to adapting songwriting to the most personal and intricate of his current influences, black metal and progressive rock. Having written a potential black metal EP a la Emperor between May and July 2006, and begun writing another potential full-length album in late September 2006, and even begun gradually writing a progressive record a la Tool on New Years' Eve 2006, it seemed all ties to Windstorm's original influence were all but lost. However with Windstorm's growing interest in hardcore hip hop and horrorcore, including artists such as Mr. Hyde, Necro and Non Phixion came his interest in immersing himself into the genre as well, as a side project per se. The early hours of August 10, 2007 would see the first act towards establishing horrorcore as a project of Windstorm's expression. With encouragement from Godsolid's ex-initial drummer Randy Talent, Windstorm began writing the first track, what would be deemed the title track, of The Faculty, the potential debut album of the side project in question. The Faculty will be a conceptual hardcore hip hop album, revolving around an intricate theme Windstorm describes as, "Egyptian curses meet Satanic UFOlogy." The album is also inspired by underground hip hop group Non Phixion, and the American technical death metal band Nile.
