"The Tourniquet Prosthetic Dance Mix" is a remix of "Tourniquet" by Sean Beavan.

While it was intended to appear on Remix & Repent, the shorter edited version was released on the EP instead. Since then, the edited version, which is close to 3 minutes shorter than the original, has appeared on several EPs, compilations and singles with no indication that it is an edit, while the full version has only ever been released on the "Tourniquet" single.

Live

"The Tourniquet Prosthetic Dance Mix" was sometimes played live on the Dead to the World tour as an outro for "Tourniquet", making it one of the very few remixes played live. Below is an example from 1997/05/11 Camden, NJ at the Blockbuster Sony Center

Lyrics

she's made of hair and bone and little teeth
   and things I cannot speak
she comes on like a crippled plaything
   spine is just a string
I wrapped our love in all this foil
   silver-tight like spider legs
I never wanted it to ever spoil
but flies will always lay their eggs
Take your hatred out on me
   make your victim my head
you never ever believed in me
   I am your tourniquet
   prosthetic synthesis with butterfly
   sealed up with virgin stitch
if it hurts just tell me
   preserve the innocence
I never wanted it to end this way,
but flies will lay their eggs
