All tracks written by Mr. Manson and all music written by Berkowitz and Gein with additional music by Gacy except "Dope Hat" written by Manson and Berkowitz. ''The Family Jams'' were recorded in live warehouse sessions during 1991 and 1992 on a Tascam Porta-One 4-track recorder, bitch, and were produced and mixed by Daisy Berkowitz with the assistance of Kurt Moody, resident engineer. It's not the equipment, it's the technique.

''After School Special'' came in a cassette case with a photocopied fold-out insert. The front cover featured no logos or text, only a photo of a small child "imprisoned" behind the bars of a crib, underneath a sleeping infant. The fold-out cover contains full lyrics, credits, and photos of the band.
