Isn't the radio edit and the clean version the same thing????? [[User:Yawaraey|Yawaraey]] 18:22, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

:Last time I listened to the single I think I remember the clean version being the same cut as the album version, but it's been awhile... <span style="background:#000000">[[User:Vixen Windstorm|<span style="color:#DEB887;">'''Alden Weston'''</span>]] [[User talk:Vixen Windstorm|<span style="color:#7BA05B;">'''talk'''</span>]]</span> 18:33, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Where did that come from? The line "I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist" has nothing to do with Nietzsche and the 'link' concerning Holy Wood and Death Valley's conflict with Master-Slave is tenuous at best. Also, I am aware that Manson wiki hosts several of MM's music videos (and other MM-related vids) on Youtube. Is it possible to put them in the articles?

:This article was written before my time, however, I ''think'' I recall seeing a youtube interview in which Manson states Nietzsche as being inspiration. While not a direct copy of the lyric, Nietzsche has been quoted with the following:
+

+
:"The only excuse for god is that he doesn't exist."
+

+
:Also, are you familiar with Neitzche's Zur Genealogie der Moral? Nietzsche suggests Christian morality is a "slave" morality, "vengeful, bitter & filled with self loathing.[[User:‡-me-‡|‡-me-‡ - MansonWiki Admin]] 10:41, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

::Regarding the youtube, yes it is possible to put them in articles so long as they don't infringe on copyright. [[User:‡-me-‡|‡-me-‡ - MansonWiki Admin]] 10:44, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

:::If you are wondering "how" to embed the video into an article use this tag <nowiki><youtube> </youtube></nowiki> in the link of the youtube video, paste whatever comes after v=
+

+
Example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GFI6Rf-IkI
+
Take only after watch?v=  and insert it in the tag <nowiki><youtube> </youtube></nowiki>

:: I don't understand why you remove that it was inspired by Nietzsche, anyone who has read anything more than quotes by Nietzsche can see the parallels between the lyrics of I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist to the passage I've quoted below.
+

+
* In The Twilight of the Gods (Götzen-Dämmerung, 1888) he wrote,
+
'I call Christianity the one great curse, the one enormous and innermost perversion, the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are too venomous, too underhand, too underground and too petty — I call it the one immortal blemish of mankind. ... '''The only excuse for God is that he doesn't exist.'''

::Sorry about that. I didn't see your replies until now. I'll put back the Nietzsche line.
