Should the albums released under the Spooky Kids name (such as 'White Trash') be added to the list? I reckon so, but yeah, opinions? Deathwish 04:43, 7 March 2007 (CET)

Digital Releases
Should the two digital releases (Lost & Found and itunes essentials) be moved to their own category? Cantwont 14:22, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Vinyl
- Question, I personally would like to have a section, (not sure whether it should be just a section on discography or an article) but from a collector's point of view, i think we should have something that lists all official vinyl releases. I realize that some of the studio albums already include the vinyl, but I think it would be really cool to see all the vinyls in one section as well. [god]speed 00:58, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Compilations?
Also, I don't see how the download card or the boxset are categorized as compilations? Perhaps we should create a section titled Special Releases or something where we could place the vinyls, boxset, download card, etc. as they are unique and could be categorized together. - Because they compile material from different collections. The boxset compiles two otherwise individually released albums and tapes, the Hot Topic download card compiles remixes from a bunch of random artists, and Lost & Found acts as a mini hits release whereas Lest We Forget and iTunes Essentials act as the whole shabang. Remixes
What do you think a high-profile remix is? Anything put out on a Manson release is high-profile. Anything artists/bootleggers randomly remixed and put out on obscure compilations/Internet/bootlegs is unauthorized. Alden Weston talk – forum profile 20:51, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- Wow, you've got your terminology all wrong. When something is "High-profile", it implies that it has more importance/it has more public appeal/people are paying more attention to it than other things in its category. For example, "Shrek" would be a high-profile movie, while "Salo" is just a regular profile movie. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are a high profile couple, while your Mom and Dad are just a regular couple. See how this works? It DOES NOT mean: "anything put out on a Manson release". Also, "unauthorized" DOES NOT mean: "Anything artists/bootleggers randomly remixed and put out on obscure compilations/Internet/bootlegs". The method of release has nothing to do with the authenticity of the song itself. Just use your ears; if the remix clearly uses the original song's multitrack files (as is obviously the case with all those remixes you classified as "unauthorized") then either it was authorized by Manson/Interscope or the crafty little devils snuck into Manson's studio and stole his files. Which is more likely? Lastly, what is the point of writing out a full paragraph on a remix when that information can all be condensed into: "Name of Remix" ("Name of Original Song" remixed by "Name of Remixer"). Simple and to the point. This is a list, inside of a larger article of lists, not an elaborate article in itself. There's basic info and anyone who wants to know more than basic info can go read the main article. Writing out all that extra stuff would be like putting "Holy Wood is the 4th studio album by Marilyn Manson released in 2001 and featuring the musical input of Manson, Ramirez, etc." next to the Holy Wood entry; completely unnecessary since anyone who would care to find out the specifics will go to the main article anyways.--Lagozzino 22:47, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- Okay guys, this editing war is getting a little out of hand, how about those involved hash it out on the forum or here on the discussion page before making anymore edits?
