just to clarify for all of you out there who have bothered to look at this list of supposed fake covers or misconceptions a fair ammount of those in the list are genuinely Manson songs, there is an album called "Rare and Acoustic" which has at least a few of the songs on the list. I suggest someone cross reference the list with this album and remove them, for example "Like a Virgin" and "Forbidden Fruit", it is fairly obvious that these are manson singing because of how unique Warner's voice is, here is a link to details of this album, its even in this wiki so obviously this has been a relative oversight for somebody. | just to clarify for all of you out there who have bothered to look at this list of supposed fake covers or misconceptions a fair ammount of those in the list are genuinely Manson songs, there is an album called "Rare and Acoustic" which has at least a few of the songs on the list. * Actually, [[Rare and Acoustic]] is an unofficial release. Bootlegs are notorious for containing songs by supposed artists. Like a Virgin & Forbidden Fruit are both fakes. − | + | This is another questionable Madonna cover very much like the "Like a Virgin" correction that I made. The statements concerning "The Beaver Meat Cleaver Beat" sessions, as well as the Satan on Fire information, is indeed a fact. It was, however, also included on the Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids 100 Minute Demo. Since Brian and Jeordie were members of both projects, when the Satan on Fire arrangement was abandoned, they chose to include a few of their favorite tracks on the official 100 Minute Demo, and therefore makes it credible to label it a Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids track. Jeordie didn't officially join the band as Twiggy Ramirez until nearly two years later, but as a friend of Brian's, I'm confident that he gave permission to use the track. Brian adamantly held tightly to the rights of all materials he had involvement in, and still does I'm sure. So, it's arguable regardless, but definitely released on the 100 Minute Demo. I can confidently assure the readers of this Wiki of that much.

− | + | I personally own a legitimate copy of the Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids "100 Minute Demo" released in 1992, and it IN FACT does include the VERY SAME VERSION of "Like a Virgin" commonly heard on YouTube. I'm a huge fan and have been since I was about 10years old (I'm now nearly 40 lol). I assure you that I am correct about this. I am fully aware that it doesn't sound like the Manson that most people are used to hearing, yet it is him, nonetheless. I was compelled to get this correction on here after seeing it. I was attempting to confirm another questionable cover that I have been seeing and found the information on here to be quite accurate... other than this one in particular. Honest mistake, easily made.
