== Lyrics ==

    You’ve got your

    Hell’s teeth

    Smiling at you.

    It keeps your brain safe,

As it all eats at your face…
But don’t worry,

    We’ll ‘blur it out’

    And no one

    Ever will know,

    Oh

    No, oh oh oh
This is my beautiful show

    And everything is shot

    In slo-motion

    This is my beautiful show

    And everything is shot

    In slo-motion
SLO-MO-TION
Pump in the laughter

    Of dead-audience applause

    And TEENAGE RAPE candidates

    I think we got ourselves

    A ‘real hit’

    Don’t we wish

    That we had something

    More than hate

    And morbid panic?

    Morbid panic.

    Hate and morbid panic
This is my beautiful show

    And everything is shot

    In slo-motion

    This is my beautiful show

    And everything is shot

    In slo-motion
SLO-MO-TION
I’m the host with Vaseline

    I hide behind bullet-proof glass

And I can feel your tits

    With my brand new camera

    (Equipped with a flash)

    Fast-food-nude

    I hate you all

    But somehow

    You find me…

    Incredibly charming
This is my beautiful show

    And everything is shot

    In slo-motion

    (Incredibly charming)

    This is my beautiful show

    And everything is shot

    In slo-motion
SLO-MO-TION

    (Incredibly charming)

    SLO-MO-TION
== Trivia ==

* The song was used on the American version of the television dance competition, So You Think You Can Dance.

* On August 15, 2012 Marilyn Manson posted a Slo-Mo-tion Dubstep remix by Dirty Phonics<ref>[http://rcrdlbl.com/2012/08/16/premiere_marilyn_manson_slo_mo_tion_dirtyphonics_remix_ Premiere: Marilyn Manson "Slo-Mo-Tion" (Dirtyphonics Remix)]</ref> one day only free download offer on his facebook.

* On August 22, 2012 Marilyn Manson posted a new [http://t.co/xilgspXo Slo-Mo-Tion] website (URL shortcut that refers to [http://slo-mo-tion.com/ slo-mo-tion.com]).

* In a September 2012 interview Manson said he thought up the visuals of the music video first and built the song around the images in his head.

* Manson revealed the song was a mock on television shows where any inperfection is "blurred out in post" and how people will stab each other in the back in the industry to get ahead. He also included the comparative imagery of a cameraman "shooting" with a gun instead of a camera.

* "Slo-Mo-Tion" uses rhythmic and riff patterns very similar to "[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrrGKR8Xii4 Hang Me Up to Dry]" released 5 years earlier by Cold War Kids.
