Slipknot is a 9 piece Metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1992 and again in 1998. They were made famous by their signature Masks and for pioneering the new wave of American Heavy Metal. Their lyrics revolve around social issues and anger, and they are criticized for their guitar riffs which change very little throughout each song, and are usually just different variations of the same part. Drummer [[Joey Jordison]] is known to have remixed [[The Fight Song (Slipknot Remix)|The Fight Song]] and has appeared in the [[Tainted Love]] music video and has appeared in [[The Death Parade]].
