The music video, directed by Samuel Bayer, features a basic performance from the band. The music video premiered on MTV during the second week of March 1999.^[1]

• A promotional VHS was issued in 1999 with the music video on it.
• The song was briefly mentioned in chapter three of the Japanese light novel "The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya".
• This song's name may be a play on words of Friedrich Nietzsche's concept of God is dead.
