"One in a Million" was performed by Marilyn Manson during soundchecks on the Guns, God and Government tour. The song was originally performed by Guns 'N' Roses in 1988.

Studio cover

In 1998, Marilyn Manson alluded to plans to cover "One in a Million", a controversial song by Guns 'N' Roses, however by 2002, the song had yet to materialize. In an interview with The Heirophant on July 6, 2002, Manson explained his reasoning for covering the song as wanting "to do it simply because Axl Rose apologized. I don't think you should ever make something you will have to say "sorry" for."[1] Manson went on to confirm that he lost interest in covering the song, but mentioned that the band had been performing it during soundchecks.
