Marilyn Manson Speaks Up for WM3 at VH1's Golden Gods Apr 9, 2010 at 3:39 PM 2 comments From Examiner.com's overview of VH1's Golden Gods Awards show:

"Surprise: Marilyn Mansion hit the presenter's stand to talk a bit about Revolver's charity, "Free the Memphis 3." He let the crowd know he was going to talk about something "serious" as oppose to his normal humor and went on to say "I wish I had the strength of Damien Echols, Let's fix this."

Before Marilyn got up to speak, there was a nice short edit of "48 Hours". The worked-up audience fell silent, then Marilyn went on to explain why he's speaking up for the WM3 at long last. Before this, he didn't want to make things worse for them as he was so personally notorious-- now he knows he can't stay silent about it anymore! We're waiting with great anticipation to see what he will do for them next. The show airs on May 22, hopefully his speech will not be cut down or out.
