Monster Magnet was formed in 1989 by Dave Wyndorf, John McBain, Tim Cronin, and Tom Diello. They supported Marilyn Manson during the Rock Is Dead Tour. Marilyn Manson also performed a cover of Monster Magnet's "Spine of God" with Dave Wyndorf in 1999.
