It was originally a song called "Herpes", though it was reworked and retitled as "Missi", after Manson's then-current girlfriend Melissa Romero, due to the original version angering one of the mentioned girls mentioned in the song's boyfriend, who was the bass player for ex-Manson bassist Olivia Newton Bundy's band L.U.N.G.S..
