Does anyone else get the strong influence of the David Bowie album Low? I was just thinking how similar certain songs were.

"Arma-goddamn.." sounds like "Speed of Life" (not to be confused with the MM song "Speed of Pain"), "Four Rusted Horses", with its twangy, country-like intro, is a dead ringer for being THEoL's "Be My Wife". I think "The Wow" is the album's "Warszawa" or "Art Decade" since they both have an unconventional structure and largely experimental sound. Other songs also contain bits and bleeps that wouldn't be out of place in the aforementioned Bowie album.

Anyway, that was just my 2 cents.

Does anyone other than me see what's in the initials for The High End of Low? It spells out "THEOL" or "HEOL" depending if you want to include the "The" in the front. But what I'm getting at here is what "THEOL" or "HEOL" means- I've heard of Theol and Heol before and I think- though I'm only 98% sure about this- I think they are ancient Hebrew for Hell. I think. So I was just wondering if anyone other than me saw this and didn't put it in the Trivia section... unless it doesn't belong there, I don't know. lol --Raven was here-- 22:21, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

:If it's true, it can go in the section with a note saying that it's uncertain if this was intentional. We don't want to give people the impression that the abbreviation is meant to be taken as an allusion to the Hebrew word, but that it's curious nonetheless. <span style="background:#000000"><span style="color:#DEB887;">Alden Weston</span> <span style="color:#7BA05B;">talk</span> <span style="color:#7BA05B;">–</span> <span class="plainlinks"><span style="color:#7BA05B;">forum profile</span></span></span> 15:40, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

MM's Sound and Vision

Album Initials

If it's true, it can go in the section with a note saying that it's uncertain if this was intentional. We don't want to give people the impression that the abbreviation is meant to be taken as an allusion to the Hebrew word, but that it's curious nonetheless.
