Amboog-a-lard live in the early 90's; Twiggy is on the right.

Amboog-a-Lard was formed in 1987 as a garage band by Dan Fontana, George Kokkoris and Barry Alpertand, and went through brief successes before eventually flatlining by 1996. The spearhead of their only "official" release (they also recorded a pro-demo CD), A New Hope, centered around the theme of Star Wars but their music is characterized by deeper philosophical and political thoughts. Twiggy was among the other members (back then still known as Jeordie White), first as a rhythm guitarist, and then as bassist.

Jeordie had won a Slammie Award as the Best Guitarist when he was in the band.
