Trivia

  • A riot ensued outside the Four Seasons hotel where Marilyn Manson and Korn were staying, due to the rivalry between fans of the bands.
  • On the intro for "Rock Is Dead", Marilyn Manson commented on the protests that took place on the country due to his appearance, and he encouraged the fans to "pray" for the rock by screaming "Rock" as an intro for this song.
  • The festival originally headlined Korn as the main event and Marilyn Manson was as a "special guest", but due to the publicity of Marilyn Manson's controversial performances, they were bumped up as headliners. Korn bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu was allegedly jealous of this stint.
