The performance on September 5th, 1996 took place at Irving Plaza in New York City, New York, USA. The show was part of Nothing Records' showcase "A Night of Nothing" headlining Nine Inch Nails. It marked the band's first performances of "Kinderfeld", "Irresponsible Hate Anthem", and "1996", just a month before official release on the band's 1996 album Antichrist Superstar. It was also the first show featuring guitarist Zim Zum, replacing Daisy Berkowitz.

The show was cut off towards the end of "1996", due to Manson's microphone stand hitting drummer Ginger Fish in the head, knocking him out. A video of the show can be found in the files archive.
