Oedepus is a member from the Manson community, contributing mostly to Babalon and Mansonwiki. A fan since 11 years of age, Oedepus picked his name from the painting of the same name, that Manson did of band member Twiggy Ramirez.

A re-known Bowie expert among the Manson community, Oedepus has strong interests in painting, drawing, music, singing, film, writing and collecting both Marilyn Manson and David Bowie.

Oedepus has met many of his favorite artists during his life, most notably Manson himself, and if he ever met Bowie he would probably explode. He also waits for the day he can meet Manson again to discuss art and music with him.

Besides Marilyn Manson and David Bowie, other examples of musicians Oedepus has strong admiration for are the highly unusual David Byrne (both Talking Heads and solo work)and the electronic music pioneer Richard D James, most commonly known as Aphex Twin.

Oedepus is also known for his particular interest in Manson's "Astronaut" costume picture, and an analysis of said image, written by him can be found at Babalon.

With a striking painting portfolio on the side, he also dedicates his efforts to his strongest passion: Music. At the time of this article, Oedepus as a musical artist has 2 efforts under his belt, the self titled from 2009 (including many hits) and the bizarre EP "Computers have feelings" completed in 2010. The first album has memorable cover artwork, an image of Eugene Levy with his skeleton removed, and the EP consists of vocal experimentation and heavy sampling. The EP's artwork consists of one of the artist's favorite paintings from his catalogue, a haunting portrait of a blond woman. Though not fully digested by the public, his work has generated some cult following.
