I just saw the music video on youtube, because its now on there. Its good, but its also like at the same time where is the band? I mean I was hoping to see the other members like waiting for manson outside the hotel room door, but it was just manson and the girl. I still liked it though, do not get me wrong it was good, but I was hoping to see the other members

Agreed, it's a six minute closeup of Manson singing, interspersed with maybe a minute of footage where Manson beats a girl. I don't get it.

I switched this thread with the "Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon" music video thread, since this is now the latest vid. But come on people, the last video generated 50+ responses! I guess it can't be blamed though, reception for this video seems pretty lukewarm.

I thought it was pretty awful. As stated before, it was five minutes of Manson crying into a camera and thirty seconds of what the entire video should have been: the murder. I would've loved to see more of a plot develop. "Running..." isn't even a song that has a lot of potential to make an entertaining music video.

Manson's been seriously lacking in the video department lately. I don't think we'll ever have another masterpiece like "The Dope Show", which is a shame, because those videos used to be a defining aspect of the band's image and music.

Why should the murder have been part of the video at all? I didn't get that impression from the song. The scenes with Manson and ERW seemed to be more fitting of this "In the Movies" video Manson spoke of. I don't know, that's my take. To be honest the fact that a video was filmed for this song at all caught me by surprise.
